Hello Friends and Family,
Not to much happened this week. We have
been teaching Romario and Gustabo. They are really smart guys. Right now, we
are just waiting for them to recieve an answer about the book of Mormon. They
are progressing really well. Other than that, we don't have any more
progressing investigators. We watched a baptism in our ward this week. I loaned
my pants to the father who was baptizing his son. Perks of being short. His son
was deathly afraid of the water, so the dad physically pushed his son under the
water. Not really a peaceful baptism, but it was so funny to watch the son try
to get away from the dad. Little Fernando was baptized in the secia.( Secia is
a little retention pond dammed up from the canal going through Tuman. There are
several of them) Absolutely everything here is done in the secia. Lavanderia, laundry,
bathing, and baptisms :) and everything. Time
is starting to fly. I love this gospel so much. It’s so simple and it just
makes sense. It’s so cool to see our investigators progress and understand that
God has a plan for them.
Love,
Elder Goold
